Opportunity is Knocking to Find a Wife (Christian Filipina)

Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…3-a time to heal…4-a time to laugh…to dance…6-a time to search and a time to give up.

The way this was described to me is there are naturally occurring seasons and times (opportunities) that need to be seized. “It’s time for spring, it’s time to die.” AND a time to find a wife. My time took a long time, but opportunity knocked, and I answered. I could have just dismissed the idea of dating a woman in the Philippines. If I had never heard that Filipinas make good wives then I probably would not have pursued a Filipina. I didn’t want to date someone more than an hour away because I wanted to spend good time with them. My perspective was that in order to do that, we would need to be physically together, side by side, but I was wrong. We had about four hours a day to communicate on Skype and Viber.

I really wondered if there was anyone out there to marry. I was 53, women at 50 were looking for younger men which made it seem all the more impossible. I wanted to live life, to have a normal sex life still. But how? Filipina on line dating was another opportunity that had always been there, I just didn’t notice it. The Bible tells us to redeem the time. The Bible teaches often about not being lazy or sluggish or slothful.
