Podcast Episode 72: At the end of your hope-Bible verses that helped me marry Part 1

Maturity, Obedience and God’s blessings

I could also have called this “At the end of your rope” Sometimes, all you have to run on is hope; that’s your fuel.  That’s what keeps you going.  We all have our pain, that thing or circumstance we fight against and wonder if it is going to beat us.  We long for something we need.  I finally got what I needed but it wasn’t without a major battle to survive mentally and emotionally.  Today it is 2020 but this all began around 1985.  I was clinging to my sanity, my faith was being challenged, and my health was declining.

By the way, please share scripture verses that have been meaningful to you! (if you would leave a comment) I have tremendous empathy for singles who want to marry, who believe God wants them to marry, but haven’t been able to.  I know what it’s like.  I have to be honest with you that the way I can offer help is not by telling you that you should just be content and not make a big deal out of it, not by criticizing you for wanting something you don’t have, not by trying to convince you singleness is best, but by trying to encourage you to not give up hope and that Gods word guides us.
