Why Does an Older Foreigner Think He Can Get a Younger Filipina?

You don't often see an older man pursuing a younger woman for marriage in the United States, however it is different in the Philippines, certainly more common. This can present some problems if the foreigner isn't thinking logically. Today I want to ask the question why does an older foreigner think he can get a younger Filipina, as in a 20 to 30-year age gap? What gives him such confidence? Comments are welcome.
