Hikikomori is a Japanese phenomenon I will introduce to you today but it is complicated and more research is needed to more fully understand it. This trend of antisocial behavior is linked to low testosterone which doesn't surprise me because not being involved with a member of the opposite sex in a relationship would intuitively lower testosterone production.
