Some have pondered if a Filipina sends money back home to the Philippines for her family, then what would their incentive be to be working themselves? I think a Filipina needs to be careful to not be an enabler, to the point that she is relied up and taken advantage of. It can be very difficult to decline a family's request for monetary help.
