Kuripot is a term I heard recently about how some Filipinos view other Filipinos. The context is that one person asks money from someone they know, perhaps a relative, but is turned down, and there are hurt feelings because of a perception they were turned down by a stingy, miserly, overly frugal person. Even to the point of considering it selfishness. I will give my take on this today on Love Beyond The Sea. I have been married to a woman from the Philippines for eight years. Comments are welcome!
