Born For Each Other Foreigner and Filipina Marriage

Born for each other? Is this just a catchy phrase or is there more to it? I believe it to be absolutely true. When I married my Filipina wife on May 10 of 2015, one of the songs she played for me was Born for you by David Pomeranz.

It resonated with me right away. I liked it so much that my wife bought me a Smart Watch and downloaded the song on it so I could listen to it whenever I was waxing sentimental. That is often! Today is my wife’s birthday as she begins a different decade of life. My birthday was a month ago so they are pretty close together. I will express to her how I feel about her on this day: My love, happy birthday!

This day might mean more to me than it does to you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed our marriage! A long time ago I was born for you so that at the right time, we would meet on Christian Filipina. 55 days before we married, neither one of us knew the other even existed and were on the other side of the planet. Yet, we were born for each other, a match made in heaven. Some may disagree but what do we care? All I went through was so that I could best be the man you need to love and protect you and provide for you. Now I am with the woman everyday that I longed for, I just didn’t realize at the time it was meant to be.

Sweetie, you put the life into living for me. I want to be with you for a long time. 27 years after I was born, you were born, so far away in the Philippines, being prepared to make my dreams come true as a man and husband. There is a reason it was impossible for me to find a wife all that time, because you were born for me and I was born for you. Praise God that you responded to my wink on March 17 of 2015. That started it all!

You were worth the wait my love, you are an amazing wife and woman. I want to make all your dreams come true. Every day is a celebration of my love for you.
